A joint venture between Jordan and Sudan, Al Amjad steel factory in Khartoum is set on a 38,000 sqm site area. The factory consists of the main building (8,200 sqm) which functions as the main production facility, an administration building (350 sqm), warehouse (480 sqm), canteen building (250 sqm), security and weighing building (140 sqm), workshop (740 sqm) and generator and service rooms. The factory is designed for a 250,000 ton capacity with potential expansion to 360,000 tons.
