Amman BRT is one of the city’s most ambitious transportation projects yet. With Phase 1 slated for completion in the end of 2010, the project aims to create a paradigm shift in Amman’s mobility—a shift that will pave the way for a modern, sustainable, and livable city. 

Amman BRT will be part of an integrated transportation network that will potentially include, in addition to regular buses and white (service) taxis, a higher-order rail network. The approximate length of the BRT running way is 30 km covered by 3 BRT lines.
