The main objective of the project was to strengthen the Palestinian Judicial System through:
1) Construction of new Conciliation Court and First Instance Court Courthouses in Qalqilya, Tubas, Salfeet, Halhul and Dura.
2) Construction of a new building for the Palestinian Bar Association.
3) Expansion of the existing courthouses in Jenin and Nablus.
The buildings consist of different areas as per the court requirements in the relevant location and with a total of 30,000 sqm. Except for the 5 storey Palestinian Bar association building, all courthouses comprised of 2-3 storeys with functions ranging from and not limited to: prosecution departments, notary public, conciliation court, conciliation registry, enforcement department, reception services, judge’s lounge(s), lawyer’s lounge(s), libraries, cashier department and the High Judicial Court for each location. All other relevant facility amenities (such as car parking areas) were furnished for the each of the buildings.
