Located at the center of the Jordanian Capital (Amman); The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) acts as the vital link between the Jordanian King and his people. The construction of the present premises began in 1952 encompassing many historical buildings that are identified in the development’s master plan as the “Heritage Area”.

The site of the RHC has 6 main gates and is approximately 1,600 donums (1,600,000 sqm). The RHC master-plan is divided into 12 zones, as follows:

- Ceremonial Palace (99,062 sqm)
- Heritage Area (497,836 sqm)
- Memorial Area (53,502 sqm)
- Main Gate and Visitor Center (78,983 sqm)
- Flag Area (72,721 sqm)
- Madareb Bani Hashem (152,359 sqm)
- Al-Dewan (Front Office) (10,689 sqm)
- Royal Guard Complex (195,659 sqm)
- Employee Gate & Parking (33,715 sqm)
- Sport Club (73,795 sqm)
- Supply Centre/Central Warehouse (38,331 sqm)
- Future Extension (68,351 sqm)

The design guidelines for every zone was studied and intended to combine tradition with modernity by the adoption of contemporary originalism.
